AGIT is a typeface created collectively by the students of the workshop “The agitated image, type workshop inspired by lettering found on public space”. The workshop was conducted with ︎︎︎ Katerina Antonaki ︎︎︎ and organised by the ︎Polish-Japanese Academy Of Information Technology ¶ Each student is assigned with a few letters, numbers and symbols (e.g. A, f, 8, @ etc) ¶ Each student, in very limited time, freehand draws (or writes) the assigned characters, following found examples ¶ The drawings are digitized, vectorized and inserted on a font file, so that, quickly, a workable latin font with all the student’s letters is created ︎
